Life is full of stops and starts, Time to start again.

Hello all,

Bet you thought you had heard the last of me....
Well I know I am bad at this blog thing, and for that there is no one to blame but myself. But as usual I strive to do better and have a few thoughts the universe may want to hear about... or not..

These last few years have been tough on many, I am not the only one to end up homeless a few times, to be out of work, with a spouse that is also looking for another job due to another company closing. It is becoming more and more common that those of us that are willing to work hard and do what has to be done are the ones that end up with no work, or less then enough hours to make ends meat.

These are also the ones that do everything that can be done to save our good name, and credit but can not make it, can not afford to own a car to go to and from any longer, or have a home, and must live entirely off the charity of friends and family.

Well guess what. In the time of year that will often bring these people down the most I say this. Thank you to the friends and family that have been a life line to these people. They may not say it or be able to express it enough but they love you for it, and most likely hope in their heart of hearts that they can repay you somehow one day.

At the same time I say to those who feel like they have no hope, have been stepped on, ignored, and forgotten. Those with Degrees, and resumes that are full of wonderful experience or little that you need to keep your head up. While your pride may be low, or damaged you have a right to be proud, you are a fighter. You do not give up, keep going not out of simple preservation, but out of a need to surface, so see the sun again, and to be able to sleep at night without worry.

This is not an end or a stopping point. It is a chance to start again, to prove you have earned what you what you are capable of. So even if you are the Collage Grad with 15+ years of experience in your carrier field yet are working at a fast food window serving those people whom always said you would fail when you were growing up, you know you can start again. You can prove them wrong, one step at a time, you can work your way back to your dreams, and find that you are a stronger person for having walked through the fire.

Well once again ladies and gents as we all know life has it's ups, downs, and loopty lues.

Once again I find myself in the posit ion of being the sole bread maker. This would not be a problem by any means if my only form on constant income was not from a 10hr per week service industry position.

Again my husband and I are both looking for positions that will help us soldier on. Him looking for Full time work, myself a morning position to supplement my teaching at night and my before mentioned pt. But as always I have to look at this from a positive view.

We all know that with today's economy jobs are getting harder and harder to find. A person with a Degree and years of experience is not safe from working a drive through window these days. Fighting with high school students for hours that are also being cut.

Take this not as a sign of defeat, but a chance to better your skills and work with a different clientele or build team building skills with a group you did not think you would work with again once you reached the age of 20. Find the silver lining, because the one thing you do not want to bring to your next interview is the image of a defeated person. You want to show that you can overcome and make the best of every opportunity.

It is again that time. Job hunt. In an economy that makes it harder for companies to trust in their need for staffing.

A small part of me feels sad, I have not been able to make a go of my art alone right of the bat. An impossible wish but one you always hope for.

However I know that this is silly, that a part time job to tied us over till the company starts to really prosper is a smart idea. I also am exited the chance to once again expand my skills and learn something new from a new company and new people.

So economy aside am happy to say that yes I am once again our looking for that perfect place for me in the world.
